Frequently asked questions

How much do I need to own before making a will?

You do not need to be wealthy. A will matters for everyone because it states who should receive your assets and rights, such as the right to live in your home. Without a will, the estate goes to the legal heirs in the order and proportions set by law.

How is a family constitution different from a will?

A family constitution is not a will or a contract. It is a set of rules the family agrees on about each member’s role in the business, so the business lasts across generations. A will decides who receives your assets after you die.

Which family businesses should set up a holding company?

It suits families whose business has grown into several companies, branches or types of business. A holding company separates each business’s risk and lets members hold shares through one company, reducing conflict. With one company and few members, it may not be needed yet.

Does GTIA offer international financial products?

Yes. GTIA has business partners in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda, so we can offer financial products in Thailand and abroad, chosen to suit each person’s or business’s goals.
